What’s it about

I’m not a “brainwashed” patriot who carries a Chinese flag and cries when hearing the national anthem. I’m just a normal person who couldn’t tolerate the lopsided media turned a blind eye to the violence of protesters. It is funny to see such a shallow thinking from some of the foreigners who thought anyone against the violence protesters are from CCP or their puppet.

You can have a trillion reasons to hate CCP and I respect that, but don’t let them cover your eyes to see the other side of the protesters, show some respect to the victims, especially the women and elder who got bullied and beaten in this city which ranked 16th in rule of law.

The site only discloses the dark side of the protesters because they are buried by the western & local media. If you want to see police brutality, feel free to google or check out the comments on my site. I’m sure there are plenty.

  1. Imagine being this delusional.

Trying to convince people that the violent acts of HK rioters are actually sponsored by undercover CCP agents is so incredibly stupid that I don’t even know where to start. To begin with, the rioters’ leaders have openly conceded that their “protests” are of a violent nature. Joey Siu and that inbred Joshua Wong gave it away, and even worse, both refused to challenge these acts of violence.

World leaders outside of America’s five-eyes circle-jerk already know this. It’s no wonder why citizens from countries like Australia, New Zealand, America, and the UK are becoming increasingly poor and stupid. That’s what happens when you live in an echo-chamber of similarly constructed hive-minded propaganda efforts concocted by the CIA. You don’t find it fascinating why DW, a German media channel, interviewed riot leader Joey Siu from an anti-HK movement point of view….in English nonetheless? Think about why that is, and why no sane person would believe this kind of overt bullshit you’re spewing on this embarrassing website.

By the way, this comment was obviously sponsored by the CCP if it helps with your coping mechanism.

      1. Sincerely wish our God bless all of our kids n new generations, young men & women, all HK citizens!!!

      2. Many thanks for the great effort to record and safeguard the untold recorded tapes that are not reported by the biased media. The reporters are running their risk and this is the most riskiest task ever happened in a non-war battlefield but full of violence, lynching and arson civilized environments in HK.

    1. I am German, but I don´t remember article by Deutsche Welle(DW). It was at least not in my cellphones news feed. That´s the thing, I don´t remember our media posting anything that is not pro riot or pro US.

Could you link that article? Or tell me the headline/title and i´ll find it myself then. I would like to see that article, and maybe write DW that they should make more such objective articles in the future. Thanks.

PS DW in January pledged themselves to combat fake news… Personaly I don´t trust their words. But maybe they didn´t lie? Maybe they are really starting to battle fake news? That´s why I want to see that article by them.

  2. I did NOT think it’s propaganda; I just clicked the link out of curiosity—to see where it goes. What Hong Kong needs is strong-principled people like you. (And we need our Police. I love & respect policemen. They are the ones who run towards danger when everyone else runs away from it.)

    1. The protesters are absolutely peaceful and I think the police should use the same peaceful ways to deal with them like throwing bricks at them poking them with sharpen steel rods pouring acid on them and throwing petrol bombs at them

  3. WOW what a great database which just focuses on protesters violence but never says a word on how HK government, police and their supporters destroying Hong Kong for these days. So why you call your website “HK protest”? Why isn’t it called “Hong Kong Riot” or “Hong Kong Disaster”? Oh maybe “I Hate Hong Kong Youngsters” would be the best!

Hey you know what? Whatever you declare, this database is obviously a propaganda. The reason isn’t that you just describes HK protesters’ violence. It’s because you DO NOTHING to help protect any CORE VALUES in Hong Kong. Umm “anonymous hero”? Is stirring-up fun for you?

People like you don’t deserve freedom and democracy, just get out and back to your mainland great CHINA.

    1. Hi there, First i wanna ask what is freedom and democracy? Well there is actually no such a thing as freedom. Freedom is for everyone different, so do not think that your view of freedom is the same as the others. You only have freedom, if you dont break the law (so real freedom dont exist). And democracy? Simple it is just the way how you control your country like dictorship. But is democracy really a perfect methods for every country? Well the answer is obviously no (Example India or Iraq). And lets be honest without dictorship, China still would be an poor country.

And why this news only share the protesters violence? 1. That is probably because the western propaganda only show us how the hk police use violence. and 2. Why the hk police act violence?

And if you compare the death with other protests of the world, you know those hk police are soft.

btw. know the law. “protesting without permissions is illigal”, It’s not only in China, it’s worldwide (so they have the right to arrest you)

    2. Obviously you can not read. The author literally wrote the reason why only violence of protesters are shown: “The site only discloses the dark side of the protesters because they are buried by the western & local media. If you want to see police brutality, feel free to google or check out the comments on my site. I’m sure there are plenty.”

To me the reason that this website is called “HK protest” is because your leaders think the riots are part of the movement and you do not condemn violence (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9nNeO0yWyk&t=186s). The reason you do not condemn is because when those riots get arrested you can then blame the police to treat protesters badly. If you do not think those riots are protesters, then you have no reason to blame the police.

You sounds like a reasonable person. I support peaceful movement. I’ve been to HK many times and I love the city. I think you should unit your fellows to condemn violence and pursue your goals peacefully. Stop destroying your city. I wish you best luck.

      1. Peaceful demonstrations haven been done multiple times. Basically means the support to peaceful demonstrations worth nothing at all. It is reminded that i am not saying violence is correct, but the unfair prosecution and arrest is the root cause of the violence. Police brutality is witnessed by basically everyone who got there eyes open , but can you tell me anyone of them being investigated?
Meanwhile, pro-china guy waving knife in uni campus didnt even get arrested while 15 yrs old HK kid having a laser pen that 1 degree difference can lead to 0.62m discrepancy is charged with holding offensive weapon . Does it even make sense? Where is the rule of law?
Besides, talking about destroying the city. Yes of course there are flames everywhere, bricks on the ground, road blocked. But where the hell are you all while the government wasting 10 billions to build a useless pedestrian bridge? where the hell are you all while the government building infrastructures only benefits the mainland China but not HK ? where the hell are you all while the government ruining HK bit by bit?
Peaceful protest only works in places that have democracy , where the presidents care about the votes. I cannot see HK having democracy tough, perhaps thats the reason for them to shamelessly betray HK.
Unless you give at least one solution on how to alter the falling status of rule of law or tell us how to make HK a democratic place, otherwise any of your opinions are just dogshit, like what the protesters look like to the government.

      2. I’m replying to Normal HKer here since it seems I can not directly reply to you based on the mechanism of this website.

For your first point. I get what you are trying to say and I understand your frustration. However you are wrong because, first, peaceful demonstrations worked. For example, the extradition bill was withdrew as a result of peaceful movement. So the support to peaceful demonstrations does not worth nothing. Second, some policemen were investigated indeed, e.g., https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/20/world/asia/hong-kong-police-arrested-beating.html. I understand you are angry about police brutality and I did see many videos show police beating people. I feel sorry. I think the police being too violence is not good. However attacking innocent people can not fix this problem. There is absolutely no reason to use violence on innocent people. What you seems to tell me by saying “unfair prosecution and arrest is the root cause of violence” is that you are attacking innocent people because the police does not treat you well. This logic makes me sick.

For your second point. I get you. There are some unfair prosecution and arrest if what you said is true. Again, this does not justify using violence on innocent people unless you want to be treated as a terrorist. Do you know why? Check out the definition: “Terrorism is, in the broadest sense, the use of intentional violence, generally against civilians, for political purposes.”

For your third point. I got you that you are not satisfied by some decisions made by the government. Again, this does not justify using violence. For example, Trump made a lot of decisions that my american friends do not like. However if they go attacking people in the street by petrol bombs they will be shot to death by US police.

For your last point. No. One do not need to find a way to make HK a better place before condemning violence. Solving social and political problem is always hard, kid. This is true for people everywhere among the world. You are obviously caring about the future of HK, which is very good and so do I. So stop the violence, study and think harder to find a more practical way to make HK a democratic place step by step instead of looking like a baby crying for ideal democracy to be given by the government. People broke the laws must face the aftermath, no matter what their intentions were. I wish you the best luck.

    3. Shows your ignorance of modern society. Police is naturally violent. They are given the right to use violence against violence, e.g. the rioters. Otherwise who in the hell would defend the law and order of the city? You probably meant excessive violence among the police. I can’t agree on that either, given how destructive the rioters have become, to the city and anti-rioting citizens alike. Yes, police attack on the rioters, but rioters attack on the passers-by and bystanders, including women and elders. Who’s the devil may I ask? Instead of telling people to get back to mainland great CHINA, why not tell the rioters and their supporters to get back to underground great HELL. May Satan be with you all.

      1. Here are 50c.

Riots from blue ribbon or CCP attack the protesters, so the protesters defend themselves.

      1. But the 50 Cent is right.
These are not protesters. These are terrorists as what Mr. Trump said.

  4. Guys who wanna see HKpolice “violent” gram just go BBC, ABC, CNN or somewhere else. The things posted hier are real happend but not showed on those “official media”. I don’t wanna talk about politics, I just condemn the VIOLENCE.

    1. This site is the same as other communist propaganda machine like People’s Daily, Global Time, CCTV. I don’t see why it needs to exist other than pretending to be objective.

      1. Yeah, just because you are an almighty, omnipotent individual that spouts only facts out of your mouth.

  5. Admire your efforts. You should add the video of the Japanese tourist being viciously assaulted in your database. It is important that such information is archived and preserved for all to see and make up their own minds.

  6. It is true that some of the protesters are going to far, but if you are supporting China because of that, then you’re just being ignorant.

  7. Thank you for creating this site. As I write this the hive minded ”democracy” protesters are now destroying Hong Kong, most with out the ability to actually articulate what they are fighting for and what the strategy is (the government is trying to give them a way out) . The darkness is coming for Hong Kong unless the adults in the room stand up to the young thugs we see out on the streets everyday. The initial movement was understandable (anti-elab) but now its becoming exactly what they were against – tyranny. Hong Kong and the UK have failed its youth – not China – with a shitty economic system and an even worse education system which has produced the mindless idiots we see out in the streets today. The CCP is no angel (obviously) so acting like them and its former ‘Red Guard’ shows the level of immaturity within this movement. Stop now, its not too late, sit down with the government and negotiate a deal and stop following inbred losers like Joshua Wong or Joey Siu they are only leading you towards darkness and destruction.

  8. Imagine being this delusional.

Trying to convince people that the protesters in HK are actually sponsored by undercover CIA agents is so incredibly stupid that I don’t even know where to start.

  9. The problem with HK is more to do with housing than anything else. It’s all due to the HK oligarchs having got too greedy. They objected to government’s proposed building projects for affordable housing and used the land to build private apartments at sky high prices.

Lack of democracy is just an excuse to start the purge of government officials who are against the interests of the oligarchs. Together with paid protesters and those who can’t stand living in their sub-divided 100-150 sqft hell hole anymore (and probably gone mad), they are succeeding in destroying HK.

  10. Thanks so much for your effort. Thanks for telling the truth to the world. The rioters in Hong Kong now turned into terrorists, they used extreme violence to force people to agree with them. They are not fighting for freedom, they just attacked innocent people and killed HK citizens. The rioters ruined our hometown and destroyed the reputation of all universities. They are brainwashed, selfish, cruel and inhuman.

  11. You are doing a great job. Thanks for your efforts! This site deserves much more attention.

Violence must be condemned. As someone who had been to Hong Kong many times and have many friends there, I’m so sick of the biased media that never reports the violence of the protesters. I’m also so mad at those rioters who are turning the beautiful city into ashes.

I support peaceful movement. But up to this moment the leaders of the protesters do not condemn violence (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9nNeO0yWyk&t=185s). And the biased media keeps saying the movement is peaceful. I’m so sick of this! More people need to learn the truth.

For the real/truly peaceful protesters. You should thank this website and condemn those violence. Because you will never achieve your goal if those violence continues. A lie repeated a thousand times will not become truth. Please stop fooling people and pursue your goal peacefully. I wish you the best luck.

  12. First I appreciate your effort, spending time to collect all these videos and evidence. But there is one fact you will never admit, you didn’t think deeper. The crux of the problem is Mainland China, who try to smash the “one-country-two-system” by limiting hk’s autonomy.
Protestors might be wrong by going extreme, still there are sin on both police and violent protesters. Wherever a police appear, there goes violence, can u explain that ?
Rome is not built in one day, so do violence acts, please think about why, instead of blaming and accusing. It does no good to the condition, at least in the past 5 months.

  13. You can see from some comments that some ppl don’t obtain the basic skill of using English as a communicative tool. In this case I suspect they also failed to understand the lengthy context the blogger stated in the beginning. For helping them better understanding the message, here by I provide the Chinese version:

I’m not a “brainwashed” patriot who carries a Chinese flag and cries when hearing the national anthem. (我不是一個會舉著中國國旗聽著國歌而落淚的愛國主義者)I’m just a normal person who couldn’t tolerate the lopsided media turned a blind eye to the violence of protesters.(我只是一個無法忍受帶有偏見的媒體無視抗議者的暴力的普通人)It is funny to see such a shallow thinking from some of the foreigners who thought anyone against the violence protesters are from CCP or their puppet.(令人可笑的是一些膚淺的外國人認為任何反對抗議者暴力的人是CCP的走狗/玩偶)
You can have a trillion reasons to hate CCP and I respect that(我尊重你憎恨CCP的任何理由), but don’t let them cover your eyes to see the other side of the protesters(但是不要讓那些理由蒙住你的雙眼)show some respect to the victims(給予受害者尊重), especially the women and elder who got bullied and beaten in this city which ranked 16th in rule of law.(特別是在這個曾經位列世界第16位的法治城市,被欺凌、被打倒在地的老人和婦女)
The site only discloses the dark side of the protesters because they are buried by the western & local media. (這個網站只顯示這場運動的黑暗的一面,被西方和當地媒體掩蓋的一面)If you want to see police brutality, feel free to google or check out the comments on my site. I’m sure there are plenty.(如果你想看警察暴力,請移步相關網站,或查看下方評論區留言。我相信會有很多。)

  14. When you are only telling the wrongdoings of one side then you are doing it for a political purpose. If you are being totally unbiased, you should have also shown the police brutality. I believe you are either getting benefits from the pro-government groups or you are wearing a colored glasses without knowing it.

    1. Diana……we ain’t stupid.. All evidence are presented in videos. You are the one who lost the brain cockroach

      1. You say I lost the brain of the cockroach but I never had the brain of a cockroach in the first place. I don’t need some brainwashed Fatty telling me the ‘facts’

    2. the videos are shown with plenty of factual evidence. If you refuse to believe factual evidence it only shows how delusional and brainwashed you are.

  15. I do not know if this is real news or not but it is definitely fake news. If Hong Kong had the second amendment, they could just shoot the police and the country would be better off.

  16. I best wish that this site will not get DDoS-Ed by anyone. (I really mean it)
There are way too many information in the social media.
Truth are always tough to accept though…

  17. It’s interesting how very few Cockroaches make it this far. They simply aren’t prepared to look at so much truth. Instead heaping praise on Morons like Rubio. Oh thank you Marco for shafting Hong Kong, can I have your baby!

  18. Hey, great website, this is so needed! You should consider running a Kickstarter campaign, as there is so much misinformation that gets insane amounts of funding there. You could make good money too 😛

These guys raised like $300k for a biased documentary project:
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cori226/the-city-of-tears

And this one is just… Yeah. You should run your own project to help fund this misinformation fight!
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/uncleplastic/bricks-revolution

  19. By helping the virus spreading CCP, you are no longer normal person. You are actually 50cents Party hired by CCP.

  20. Thank you for maintaining this website. It’s so frustrating to present a more balanced picture when the western world is blinded by their biased media.
